          This branch aims at qualifying students for responding to the requirements of the society, social and cultural environment in relation to dentistry through identifying oral and dental diseases prevalent in our society, identifying percentage of their occurrence by means of field investigation, awareness of methods of protection, maintaining oral and dental hygiene. Students are prepared for studying statistics, public health and applications of social sciences in the field of dentistry. Students are also known causes of dental diseases, methods of protection and spreading health awareness.
